After merging original China Northwest Airline and partnering with Yunnan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines (group) has become one of the three largest state-owned airlines.
 
It headquarters in Shanghai - the most dynamic and developed metropolis, which boasts an asset of RMB51.7 billion (US$6.46billion), 35000 employees. The fleet includes 168 large and medium-size aircrafts and 22 small planes, running 450 international and domestic air routes. The group company also owned 20 other sub-companies in the fields of Export & import, banking, aero food, real estate, advertising and machinery, etc.
