Tickets:
- In purchasing tickets, international tourists are supposed to show their passports or other valid identity cards, or inform your travel agent of the passport number, sex, nationality and birth date to issue the tickets.
- The ticket is only valid for the passenger whose name appears on the ticket and is non-transferable. The ticket will be void and non-refundable if it has been mutilated or altered.
- A child between 2-12 years of age is charged at 50% of the adult fare (not applicable for the flight to HK and abroad); an infant under 2 years of age not occupying a separate seat is charged at 10% f the adult fare. One adult passenger is entitled to accompany one infant enjoying such fare.
- The airport tax (construction fee) and other tax (fuel) have been included in the cost of airfare.
- In China, flight schedules are divided into Winter/Spring Season (October 30-March 25) and Summer/Autumn Season (March 26 – October 29). In Summer/Autumn Season there are more flights available.
Check-in formalities:
- The passengers are suggested to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours before departure time to complete the check in formalities for domestic flights. For international flights, 2 hours before departure time.
- Local guide will help the tourists with check-in procedures. Passengers are supposed to show their passports at airline counter.
Confirmation:
- If passengers issued their air tickets at home, when they come to China, they are suggested to reconfirm the tickets no matter it is “OK” status or not.
- If passengers get the tickets at the first stop after arrival in China, as the tour keep going, they are also suggested to confirm the tickets through their guides at the following stops in case of change of departure time.
Luggage:
- Carry-on: Passenger holding first class tickets may carry 2 pieces of articles; passenger holding business or economy class tickets may carry one piece of article only. The volume of either one or two pieces should not be more than 20*40*55 cm and with a total weight not exceeding 5kg. Carry-on luggage in excess of the above limit of volume and weight should be checked in for transportation according to the regulations.
- Free luggage allowance: Passengers holding adult-fare or half-fare tickets are entitled to free luggage allowance of 40kg. for the first class, 30kg for business class, and 20kg for economy class. No free luggage allowance is granted to infants.
- The checked luggage is suggested to be locked, well packed, tied up solidly and be able to withstand pressure to a reasonable extent. Airlines may refuse to check it in and will not be liable for any damage if the luggage packing does not conform to the requirements
- Please note that passengers cannot keep the knife, scissors (and other sharp articles), alcohol or other canned (bottled) drink with them while boarding the plane. These articles have to be put in check in luggage, otherwise, the security control will ask you to put back or give up.
