Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport. Our
guide will greet you at the exit of Arrival Hall &
transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the
rest of the day. Stay at Bamboo Garden Hotel.
Day 2 Beijing
Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven.
Day 3 Beijing
Full day trip to the Great Wall and Ming Tomb. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
Day 4 Beijing/Datong
Visit the Summer Palace and Hutongs by
rickshaw. Transfer to take soft-seat train to
Datong (5.5 hours). Overnight at Datong.
Taihechun Hotel.
Day 5 Datong/Taiyuan
Visit Yungang Grottoes, the Huayan Monasteries and Shanhua Monastery. Take an overnight train to Taiyuan at soft sleeper class (7 hours).
Day 6 Taiyuan/Pingyao
Be met at the railway station and transfer to have breakfast in Taiyuan. Drive to Pingyao, en route visit Double Pagoda Temple and Jin Ancestral Temple. Overnight at Pingyao.
Day 7 Pingyao/Xian
Private tour to Qiao Family's Compound, the City Wall and the Ming-Qing Street. Take an overnight train from Taiyuan to Xi'an.
Day 8 Xian
Arrive at Xi'an. Be met and drive to visit the
Ancient Wall, Shaanxi Provincial Museum and Big
Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy Dumpling Banquet
and Tang Dynasty dancing Performance at the
same time.
Day 9 Xian/Luoyang
Visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum and old city quarters. Transfer to take train to Luoyang at soft seat class (4.5 hours). Overnight at Luoyang.
Day 10 Luoyang
Private tour in and around Luoyang: Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum and the Longmen Grottoes.
Day 11 Luoyang/Zhengzhou/Shanghai
Morning private car to Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest. Then proceed to Zhengzhou and take soft sleeper train to Shanghai (13.5 hours).
Day 12 Shaghai
Be met and take private tour to the Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, the Bund, the Yuyuan Garden and Xin Tian Di. Overnight at Shanghai.
Day 13 Shanghai/Suzhou/Taishan
Private tour to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang Water Village. You will visit Net Master Garden, Tiger Hill, Panmen Gate and take a cruise on the Grand Canal. Take soft sleeper train to Taishan from Shanghai.
Day 14 Taishan
Be met at train station and have breakfast. Then
transfer for a full day visit to Mt. Taishan. You will
take private car to the Hongmen Gate and start
your climbing to the summit via Mid-heaven Gate
and Southheaven Gate. Down to the Mid-heaven
Gate by the same route, then take a mini bus to
the foot. Your guide will be with you.
Day 15 Taishan/Beijing
After breakfast, take private car to Qufu, Visit the Confucius Mansion, the Confucius Temple and the Confucius Forest. Take soft sleeper train to Beijing from Taishan (7 hours).
Day 16 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing in early morning. Take a taxi to your hotel. Free time at the rest of day.
Day 17 Beijing exit
Your own arrangement to airport and fly to your next destination.
