Day 1

Day 2

City:	Beijing
Activity:	Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.
Attractions:	Tiananmen Square Named after the Ming-dynasty gate at the northern part; with the huge portrait of Chairman Mao on it; it is the world's largest public square, with national flag raised at dawn and lowered at dusk on a daily basis. Forbidden City Served as the Palace Museum now，it was once home to 24 emperors in Chinese history. With the magnificent architectures and royal gardens well-left, it is the largest imperial palace in the world. Temple of Heaven A master piece of Ming-dynasty architecture; it served as an exclusive altar for the emperors to worship the Gods. Now the locals do morning exercises over there. Peking Duck Banquet As the symbol of China's cuisine, Peking duck is regarded as the most delicious Beijing food. Whatever you taste in Beijing, this banquet would be an essential part of your Beijing tour itinerary.

Day 3

Activity:	Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tombs and The Sacred Road.
Attractions:	the Great Wall Ancient world wonder, stretching thousands of miles; the giant stone & brick dragon, winding through the lofty mountains, great rivers and boundless deserts, offers great hiking experience and breath-taking scenery. Ming Tombs The final resting place of 13 of the 16 Ming Emperors, with diverse stone carvings, magnificent palatial buildings and numerous funerary treasures inside. Sacred Road The holy lane of animals and guardians leading and protecting the Ming Tombs; it also acts as a stop-over along the way to Great Wall.

Day 4

Activity:	Visit Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall, Beihai Park and take a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong.
Attractions:	Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall features the miniature model of the entire Beijing metropolitan area. It is designed to show Beijing's extraordinary transformation, from walled city to modern metropolis. Beihai Park A well-preserved imperial garden in heart of Beijing, with wonderful lake, palaces and temples; the park is a relaxing place to stroll around, or go boating on the lake. Hutongs The traditional living quarters of local people; they are formed by narrow alleyways, streets, courtyard houses, grey walls and tiles. Take a rickshaw tour to get a glimpse of Old Peking Culture, and pay a visit to a local family.

Day 5

City:	Beijing - Chengde
Activity:	In the morning, our local guide will help you transfer to the railway station for your train to Chengde(245km, about 4hours). Upon arrival at Chengde, you will be met and escorted to the hotel. The tour this afternoon will bring you to the Chengde Mountain Resort.
Attractions:	Chengde Mountain Resort As an imperial palace in summer, Chengde Summer Villa used to be a hunting resort. Emperors also treat honored guests and conduct business here. Being biggest imperial garden in China, Summer Villa features both north and south architectural essence.

Day 6

City:	Chengde - Beijing
Activity:	Enjoy a tour to Puning Temple and Putuo Zongcheng Temple before your train back to Beijing. Our local guide in Beijing will meet you at railway station and escort you to the hotel.
Attractions:	Puning Temple The temple, also called Temple of Universal Peace, is designed with a combination of Tibetan and Han architectural styles in 1755. Also enjoying a reputation of Big Buddha Temple, it houses the world's largest wooden sculpture of Avalokiteshvara. Putuo Zongcheng Temple The temple, the largest one in Chengde, is a mini-facsimile of Lhasa’s Potala since it modeled after the Palace. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the other seven Outer Temples.
